At the heart of the Bordeaux region, Château de Sours produces two exquisite wine collections that beautifully capture the essence of the Bordeaux region and the unique character of the estate.
The first collection, named the “Essences Collection,” is a vibrant and colorful representation of Château de Sours’ wines. Inspired by the estate’s gardens, this collection showcases the identity of their unique grape varieties.
The second collection, known as the “Quarry Collection,” derives its name from the old quarry present at the Château. This range includes three types of wines: a red, a white, and a sparkling Blanc de Noir, all crafted from grapes selected from plots around this Quarry.
Spanning 60 hectares, Château de Sours’ diverse terroirs showcase an array of soil types. Our commitment to precision viticulture, guided by Sebastien Jacquey, is evident in our methodical approach to vineyard management. We’ve carefully segmented our vineyards into specialized subplots, with clay-limestone soils for our high-quality reds, mirroring those near Saint-Émilion, and cooler plots for our exquisite whites.
