Our 2022 Sauvignon Blanc from Château de Sours is a refined expression of elegance and freshness. Currently undergoing organic conversion, with a focus on each individual plot in a bid to achieve balance between the soils and vines. Hand harvested.
Predominantly clay-silt and clay-limestone soils, oceanic climate (mainly north, north-east facing plots).
Optical sorting. Gentle, slow and considered winemaking techniques prior to ageing aimed at preserving the wine’s aromatic profile.
A wine colour on a pale yellow with silver nuances on the edges. Strong aromatic of exotic fruits and citrus on the nose with notes of minerality. The palate is rich and round on ripened white fruits with a retaining acidity balancing well texture and freshness. The finale is quite long on notes of white flowers.
